Create an account

Makes an account so your orders are kept in one place. Buying does not require one, and never will. If you have bought before using this same email address, those earlier orders are attached to the account once you click the confirmation link we send. They are not attached before that, because anyone can type somebody else’s address into a form.

You do not need one to buy. An account keeps your orders in one place — and if you have ordered before with the same address, those orders come with it.

Your name What we should call you. It is not the name that goes on parcels — that is asked for separately at checkout, because a gift often goes to somebody else.

Email Your email address. It is how you sign in, and where order emails go. This is also what past guest orders are matched against, so use the address you have ordered with before if you want those orders to appear. You will be sent a link to confirm the address; nothing is attached to the account until you click it.

Password At least ten characters. Anything you can remember is fine — a few unrelated words works well. It is checked against lists of passwords already known to have leaked from other websites, and refused if it is on one. There are no rules about capitals or symbols, because those mostly produce passwords that are hard to remember and easy to guess. At least 10 characters, and not one that has appeared in a known breach.

Makes the account and emails you a link to confirm your address. You are signed in straight away, but past guest orders do not appear until you click that link. Anything already in your basket stays exactly where it is.
